History of the Kariba Challenge
Round Table Harare 1 took over the organisation and management of the Lake Harvest Kariba Challenge in 2015. Since then the event has grown in stature with the number of runners growing steadily. All proceeds from the event support the Kariba Animal Welfare Fund Trust (KAWFT), Greendale Senior Citizens’ Trust (GSCT), The Tony Waite Organization & Greenwood Park.
The Race has attracted elite runners from clubs in Zimbabwe and South Africa and some very impressive times have been posted in past events.
